Chris Straessle is an Art Director working in the Film + TV industry.

Having studied Architecture at UCL's Bartlett School of Architecture (BSc) and subsequently at the Royal College of Art (MA), Chris gained early professional experience across a range of design disciplines — from graphic design at a leading branding agency, to interior design, and later as a Part 1 Architect - before transitioning into the world of Film + TV.

Since then, he has built a successful career in the film industry, progressing from Art Department Assistant to Art Director, and gathering a wealth of stories and insights along the way. His screen credits include The Batman (2022), Andor, Napoleon, Mickey 17, The Blitz and Gladiator 2.

Alongside his film practice, Chris continues to work across interior design projects — designing retail spaces for fashion brands and transforming commercial office spaces.
